Police are investigating after a woman's photograph, full name and home address appeared on flyers distributed across car windshields in the Therissos district of Heraklion, alongside false and defamatory claims about her. A video captured a man placing envelopes containing the flyers under windshield wipers along a central street in the neighborhood. The material included insulting personal remarks alongside a false accusation that the woman worked as a sex worker. The woman immediately reported the incident to Greek police and gave a formal statement. Investigators are now reviewing security camera footage from the area, as the flyers were distributed across a wide radius and those involved are believed to have been captured on multiple cameras along their route.
