Greek Premier Unveils €23 Billion National Development Strategy Through 2030 Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has unveiled a sweeping 23-billion-euro National Development Program, outlining a highly coordinated five-year investment strategy designed to drive the country's economic convergence with the rest of Europe by 2030. Speaking at an event hosted by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, Mr. Mitsotakis announced that the state will inject the funds into 37 targeted infrastructure and growth programs. He noted that the initiative replaces decades of fragmented, short-term regional planning with a centralized, long-term vision. "From now until 2030, Greece’s position in a changing Europe will be decided," Mr. Mitsotakis said. "It will be decided whether we can achieve real convergence to the benefit of all Greeks, or if we will remain in a category of countries that are perpetually out of breath, chasing those that excel."
